1. G. I.  Generation – born between 1901 – 1924
2. Silent Generation – born between 1925 – 1945
3. Baby Boomers – born between 1946 – 1964
4. Generation X – born between 1965 – 1976
5. Generation Y or Milliennials – born between 1977 – 2000
6. Generation Z – born between 1995 to present

 

In today’s society, people are living longer.  Back in the 1930’s, the average life expectancies in America for men was age 58 and 62 years of age for woman.  Life was harder and their were less resources.

Due to advances in health care, preventive medicine, nutrition, and exercises, the average American now lives to be age 78.
