After I became unemployed and discovered that I could not afford COBRA, I went looking for health insurance. I contacted several brokerage firms, all of whose agents took my medical history and alter reported that I might or might not qualify for insurance due to the fact that i occasionally took prescription drugs for a medical condition. Kristyna was the only agent who went the extra distance, using a false name and social security number along with my medical history, to determine whether I would qualify for specific programs while ensuring my privacy. While the ballpark figure Kristyna gave me when we first spoke was not the cheapest, neither was it the most expensive. But because she had gone the extra distance, she was the agent I stuck with. And it was based on her recommendations that I was able to choose an insurer who I knew would not turn me down, thus ensuring that there was no record of denial in any company's database. While all insurance brokers are out to make money, only Kristyna set out to help and educate me in order that I could make good decisions based on firm data. For that I am grateful.
